At SCDCL and LiUNA! we’re proud to represent LIUNA members across every corner of the construction industry, proving that we’re invaluable to the industry!In this spotlight, we’re featuring the Plaster Tenders of Southern California, LIUNA Local 1414. These members support major public and private projects across the region. Their work includes mixing materials for plasterers and fireproofing, setting up the job sites, scaffolding, cleaning, and more. It’s demanding work, but it’s work that lasts.

Local 300 & SCDCL Invest in the Future | Scholarship Awards 2025

At this year’s Scholarship Awards Ceremony hosted by Laborers Local 300, students and families shared moving words of gratitude for the union and their loved ones who made their achievements possible. LIUNA and SCDCL Helps Launch UCR Health Canyon Springs Campus

This last week the memorandum of understanding to bring the UCR Health Canyon Springs Medical Campus to life was signed. This commitment will bring healthcare to the Inland Empire where the community needs it most. This project is a partnership between UCR Health, TDA Investment Group, and the Construction Laborers Pension Trust for Southern California, which owns the land. It means good union jobs today and secure pensions tomorrow. An investment in both community health and our member’s wellbeing.
